31 ford TCI custom IFS Manual to Power rack

Beautiful setup,as far as looks.I am having a problem with road feel,It is to much for me and my Mom who I want to be able to drive the car,I understand that some prefer manual to power just for that reason.,Do you all have a cure for this,It is scary for me even when driving at hwy. speed and hit whatever bump etc..and the steering wheel if not controlled will take off, Is this common of manual steering? if so and I think not.. give me POWER

I doubt if that is common as I have never heard anyone speak of it before. Personally only found that on dump trucks and it is a bitch .
Do you have lower A arm supports ?

No, but it's quite common on systems with bump steer.

I'd be checking the camber on the front end.
I had the same problem with my old ford, the
camber was not right and there was no adjustment
for the camber so they had to bend the front axles.
after that the problem was solved, it stoped taking
off on me, and settled right down.
No more problems with it after that. Kurt

Thanks for the reply., Yes there are and I am now in the process of talking with the manufacture,They are open now after the holidays.

As Tech said, sounds like a bump steer issue....if not, probably have some alignment issues, what was the caster/camber/toe-in set at????

Thanks tech , Vara, Dave, you guys are a great help and support, Ill be home in a couple days and see what I can do about this. I dont have the alignment sheet with me but believe the caster was 2* degrees pos./camber/Toe I cant remember.Brian
