a little work on the roof
I finally got some time to work on my 29 model A today... cut half the roof off found the left side channel to be a little rusted away about a 3-4 inch section is not attaced to the side of the car.. and the center metal support has been raised almost 1/2 and inch and they seemed to of cut relief cuts down the side of the roof at this point to raise it so I guess I will need to cut those welds out and lower the support to where it is suppose to be... I figure once I get the new donor roof on I can then fix the area on the drivers side... I now have plenty of sheet metal from the roof that was on there... It looked like a solid piece that was cut about 14 inches toward the middle alone the roof struts I guess to try get the contour correct , but it didnt work out right.... I will get pictures and update as I go alone I may have to put up pictures of the damaged area on the drivers side for advice...
thanks,
simon

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
