My '34 Roadster presently runs a 302/C4 drivetrain. This winter, we are pulling that out and installing a '95 LT-1 and T-5 manual tranny.
The car has S-W "Wings" guage set with mech. speedo and electronic tach.
I will be installing an electronic speedo to work with the T-5, (2003 Blazer tranny). The engine management harness & ECM are Street & Performance. Will the S-W tach work "as-is" or do I need the little box that Speedway sells for distributor-less motors?

Oldman, the LT-1 with optispark still has a provision for a tach in its electronics. I might be wrong but I do not see a problem going as designed but a quick call to speedway would confirm..
I called Speedway this AM and placed the order. I will be in Kalamazoo for Nats North and will stop in Sault Ste Marie to pick up my order at Weir's Package & Freight. The young fella I spoke to couldn't help me out as far as advice went, but he said I could return whatever I didn't need. I also have and e-mail to Mark Campbell from S&P but no reply yet.

Mike, since your "engine management harness and ECM" are from Street & Performance, I would call Mark Campbell at S&P and ask him. He's a wiz at those things, I would have probably called him before ordering parts, it's not too late to get his advice, could save a few headaches. I'll bet the S&P harness already has a provision for the tach signal.

Should not be a problem, although most of the LT engine management computers output a 4cyl signal, so you will just have to flip the switch on the back
