in my moms house there still is a 4 foot by 6 foot over 6 feet deep horn under the front door crawl space dad built it would re start or stop your heart :D. that face in to moms sunk in living room that had a big somofabitch crown driver in it that was getting push from a old tube amp .with the altec lasings jamed under the iron hand rail and some custome made AMT ESS towers on one chanle getting push from one of the phase linears . are job was to hold my moms glass ware from jumping off the shelfs it was on .to say this rock was a under statement:D sounds like your stuff was for band 1gary we just had a radio :) in the house but it sounded the best in the front yard with the windows and doors shut. falconvan sorry of get off track. i did not meen to take any thing away from your post ... just some old memeories when i was young with abit better hearing .but it was fun:3dSMILE:

Yeah, those we're the days. These days we use little 50 watt combo amps, electronic drums, and mains you can carry with one hand and throw up on a speaker stand. Technology's come a long way; our whole stage setup fits in a minivan. Thank God; that heavy stuff is rough on the old joints after you hit 40!:D

Today should be test drive day; here's a shot of the cam break in going on as we speak! Over the last weel I've been getting brakes, exhaust, plus a bunch of little details lined out. I'll let you know how it goes!

TEST DRIVE SUCCESSFUL!!! Just a few blocks but it goes, stops, steers, and shifts.:D:D:D

How exciting that would of been, cool eh!!! Now you will be getting impatient to see the end of the build and get some mileage on it... Have you got a photo of I Scream before you started for us to see before and after..

Sure; here's what it looked like when I drug it out of a field last year.

I will have to say, since you started this truck when ever I do my weekly cross country Craigs List scan I'm always looking for odd ball stuff. Hell it makes me wish I would of kept my mid 60's postal van I had years ago. Lots of room, could haul a bunch of people or what ever if you wanted and ya gotta love the right hand drive.

Do it, Joe! Man, you could transplant the drivetrain out of that wagon you were driving, slap on a couple of coats of single stage paint, and you'd be in business! Maine is a pretty good haul to pick up a car but it'd be cool when it's done.

Thanks guys! Still a long way to go to be finished but I'm pretty happy so far. Funds are getting low, too. But there's plenty to do that wont cost a bundle. I still have to paint the doors, hood, bumpers, inside panels, and rebuild the roll up rear door plus get all the glass back in but I'm happy where its at after only about 8 months of work.

Over the last few days I got the head/tail/brake/signal lights all working, built a battery hold down, did some more adjustments on the brakes and took a few more spins down the road. It's definately getting better. I pulled it out and cleaned it up after I got home from work today, it's gotten really dusty.

I guess I'll start on the bumpers and doors soon; I've got a friend working on the hood for me.

I can hear you from here! "I'm your I scream man, stop me when I passin' by"...

I don't know why this project is so fascinating to me, but it is. It's just so....super neat!!
