2002 flex fuel pumps $$$$

My 2002 Chevy Suburban started cutting out on me again like it did on my trip to my grandfathers funral. But I had a code saying it was a cam timming sensor so I replaced it. Now I have no codes what so ever but it would just die afte about 20 minutes of driving after another 10 minutes or so it would restart and drive for about 10 minutes and cut off again.
Not codes again so I ran a fuel pressure check.
It only had 40 pounds when it was supposed to have 55 to 62 pounds.
The new pump for the flex feul is 285.00 ouches.

All the local places and checked some of the prices on line.
So that is a decent price Mike.
Anyway I went down and picked it up, the thing looks like
a small garbage disposer. I am gonna go barrow my buddies
moter cycle jack to get the tank out tomarro.
It should make the job alot easier anyway.

Sorry I wasn't quick enough, you could get an AC/Delco pump here for $245. You can borrow my motor cycle jack if you need it, they're great for fuel tanks, rear ends, etc.

Thanks for the offer on the jack but I allready talked to my buddie and he's about two blocks away from me. But it's nice to know a Club Hot Rod member lives so close, I've only met one member, Jame Robinson face to face on here. And I think I scared him with my grey beard and all. HE! HE! HE! I went and watched him race his electric car at Tampa Tech. He's a nice guy though, and I really enjoy reading his T Bucket builds.
If you ever have to turn anything on a lathe I have a 12 ft. one, though I have not learned
how to run it yet. I was planning on some friends teaching me But they have not been over since I keep ending up in the Hspital. But this is a old 1930's Regal Leblond and they are supposed to be easy to run anyway. Kurt

Kurt, sounds like a couple of grey beards like us will get along great! I'm only 1 mile west of I-75 off exit 275 (I think it's the Land O Lakes/Wesley Chapel exit, heck I don't look at the sign, I just know where to exit off :LOL:). I appreciate your offer for the use of the lathe, may have to take you up on it one day just so we can learn to use it.
