I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado with a 350, I changed the sparkplugs and truck ran fine. Put about 300 miles on it and it started to studder on me when I would accerlerate. When in park and you rev it up runs smoother then silk, once you put a load on it, it starts to run crappy. So I re-timed it changed the cap, rotor and wires and still runs like crap. Changed the fuel filter still runs like crap I am at my whits end...please help.
You got some bad plugs. Champions, by any chance? Though I've had Delco's go bad right away, too. Some don't fire right out of the box.

No champions, AC Delcos right out of the box have about 300 miles on them I will change them...thanks guys for your quick response.
You guys are awesome changed out the AC delco plugs that I thought were good plugs with Bosch Platinum+2's everything is running fine again.
Wow. I just put Champion plugs in the sbf I am building because that is what Edelbrock suggested for their aluminum heads when I called them. Those may be coming back out and some equivalent plug going in.
Champion plugs were like Mom, apple pie, and baseball..........unbelievable. :confused::confused:

It could be he cracked an insulator when he put it in. Not all plugs are bad because he had one bad.
i like champions in my lawn mower .. everything else gets autolites
Good thing about Champions in the mower, it ain't hard to find the one that ain't firing!
I checked out all of the plugs and they look exactly like they did when I took them out of the box, I thought I had cracked one too because it happens but nothing, like I said I ran those plugs for 300 miles and ran fine. I prefer Bosch Platinums have never had a problem with them.
Could be a coincidence and your fuel filter.
I changed the fuel filter as well when I was trouble shooting the original problem, it didn't fix the original problem but it has made starting the vehicle alot easier
