Need Help Selecting Mufflers

I have a 29 ford sedan delivery with a 350 chevy, stock, bored 30 over, edelbrock 600cfm, headers, 2" aluminum exhaust with cherry bomb glass packs.the car was set up like this when I purchased it. This is my daily driver, and the current system is just to loud!! I'm looking for a QUITE muffler, at my age I'm looking for more comfort than speed, I'm in a small town and the local muffler shop recommends Flow Masters, I've heard them on other cars and they still seem to loud, I really need some HELP in finding the right mufflers, I would even consider a Stock muffler but Idon't know what that would be. any imput would be deeply appreciated!!!

I would get a flowmaster 50 series delta flow or the hushpower

Thing about flowmaster is they are pricey. If you're not real concerned with power then your muffler shop should hook you up with something quiet and cheap. For a lower price and OK power muffler, Dynamax turbo and super turbo mufflers are good. Have a little bit of sound to them too, instead of that vacuum cleaner wooosh. Hope this helps.

Model A chassis can get pretty tight. You didn't say what kind of room you have under there. Perhaps the glass packs were used because of clearance? Turbo style mufflers will accomplish the quieter, but require space.

Thats why the flowmaster hushpower would fit because its simmilar to the size of a glass pack

If you want something that you adjust yourself for the sound you want call Summit @800-230-3030 and they sell a muffler called SuperTrapp which fits at the end of you tail pipe. I use them and you can go from quiet to loud by just inserting baffles

Get some glass pack tube mufflers, there loud but they are cool, just check with your local sound police to make shure there legal.

Pay attention, Matt. He said he did not want loud!!! Just pickin at ya.
