Hi,Maybe somebody can help me id a posi raer that I have and want to install in my 51 Chevy coupe. I now have in the car a open small Camaro raer and a friend gave me this posi. I have tried to locate what rear it is and before swaping (cut/welding) the spring plates I would like to make sure what rear this is. The axle tube ID says GY G015 1W. Any help please? thanks,Davey

There should be numbers on the pumpkin also. That would be helpfull.

I have tried to upload pictures but it keeps saying upload failed. From what I can understand its a 8.5 rear. I have to cut and change perches for leafs (new rear is wider. the gear has stamps on it that says 41-9 and if Im correct that would be a 456 rear? Thanks,Davey
