Hey Friends can you give me some advice on exhaust bends. I have a shop down the road that will bend it for me. But I was looking for a good trick to
use something else to bend in the shape I need then take my pipe down to
get it bent to match what ever. So what have you folks done in the past?

Use some PVC pipe to mock up the system with. You can bend it by feathering it with a torch and quenching it with wet rag and the tight ones just buy some radius elbows and cut um to suit your needs and glue together with couplings. Take the mock up to exhaust man and he will whip up a set to match.
Why not just buy a length of pipe from your local auto supply store and a few 'J' and 'U' bends from Summit and weld up your own exhaust. Yes, time consuming, but you will end up with a smooth exhaust without the ripples and reduced area after the normal exhaust shop crush bending. If he has a mandrel bending machine, then go for it, but those start at about $30K and most local guys just can't justify that kind of expense.

is this for a 34??
Mustang up to 2004 will fit around coil overs, over axle and line up with frame rails along side of fuel tank very nicely---you just have to shorten the tip by cutting the weld and sliding it forward on the pipe
PVC when heated too much will put off fumes that will crater your lungs or worse! I had some pieces that had broken off a culvert under the drive and tossed them on a burn pile my neighbor and I were burning. It ran us inside!! Very bad!:eek:

This is stainless they have one of steel for 139.95 This looks like it is for a 1995
mustang.

The one I was referring to was oem take off and also 2 1/2 stainless cat back from Magnaflow
the oem is 2" nice for smaller engine---the 2 1/2 set gets crowded in an area or 2
Thanks for the advice Jerry. I picked up a set from a 95 mustang. And they fit great with
a little tweeking here and there. They are gonna save me a lot of time. This is why I love this site. You guys aren't a bunch of smart @$$&$. You really can and do help guys out.

Hey Jerry I have the tailpipe over the axle bending about 1 inch from my tire sidewall.
Do you think the heat will effect the tire much? I can't move it over because of my coilover.

did you go outside the coilover??? and what angle are your coilovers??
Yes I went to the outside of the coilover. And my coil overs are at 70 degrees.
