that doesn't use a radiator fin probe?

Looking for something I can adjust with a knob (or pot), but uses an actual sensor, not a probe.

The Jegs PN's didn't work for me, but the SPAL setup at Speedway looks pretty good (although, a little overkill for my simple needs)

It is a very simple hook up as I recall. You can call their tech guy--he's a street rodder--and he can explain all the details to you. Nice guy, too. I have a sensor in the intake manifold which is where one of the wires attaches. The unit has a rheostat you can turn to choose the temperature for the fan to turn on.

Called him up earlier today and placed an order

Flex Lite also makes adjustable temp thermostats for water, and a really nice in-line connector with AN fittings for transmission fluid or oil.

I use the Spal one on all my builds, Very good.

ive got one its got a probe that goes into the radiator hose and the controller mounts somewhere on the radiator support. has adjust knob to adjust so controller turns fan on at whatever temp you want it to. heres a direct link to the pic. text me or call 413-272-8239-Bob

and my temp controller has a pot not a knob

I used a Dakota Digital with my 2 speed Taurus fan. So fan so good. Completely digital setup, and very easy to install/use.

After a quick peek inside, I mounted it behind the dash next to the temp gauge








The light on the left comes on when I flip the main switch for the battery isolator relay.

When the controller kicks on the fan, that light goes out and the one on the right lights up.
