Oh man that's sad. I've seen some cars out here in Michigan that have the huge ~22" rims on the older Monte Carlos or Chevelles and I think they are horrible looking but good god - who and why would you do that??? **):whacked:

22" rims are small for these cars. Most of them in the pics have 24", 26" and up.
Obviously, not all car fads are practical, feasible or even reasonable but I'm sure those rim manufacturers are loving this one. Many of those rims are upwards of $10K+ per set!:whacked::whacked:
Do you think front and rear sway bars would make any difference taking corners in one of these things??:rolleyes::LOL::LOL:
Does anyone know just where and why this style came about? I have an idea, but just saying it could get edgy by some standards; sure don't want to "dis" anyone.

That has to be the most extreme case of dork,,sorry,donk I have ever seen,[only in pix]These will probably NEVER be built[?]down here,for various reasons,mainly our certification standards,,but they would be handy in the winter,when we get the floods thru various parts of the country..Yep,how do you get in,cant see a boarding ladder,,and its a long way up,,could get a nose bleed..
