I am looking for the person who knows how to do this, Do you bend up a template wire? or what can i do? i have most all the tools to attempt this project, its for 1949 mercury rear.please contact me with this informatiom .I' listening thank you bob s:cool:

there are numerous trucks out there with housing mounted sway bars. simply take your frame measurement and find the right width. early ford 3/4 ton most likely. all it takes is a simple bracket on the frame and a long bolt and sleeve.
Not a problem, just thought we'd already been down this path :LOL: FWIW, I don't think you want to try to bend a sway bar into a custom shape, but I suppose you could heat it up, bend it to shape and then heat treat it again to get the stiffness back. Seems that finding an OEM that fits like Shine says, or using a kit with univeral arms is the easy way to go.Quote:
