O-ring or gasket

Anyone have any experiance with the 3 pc gaskets that are out for blower aplications? i asked the shop thats doin my motor about o ringing the block for the blower since i've always heard thats what should be done and he said the 3 pc gaskets that alot of guys are using have made o-ringing a thing of the past.
Supposedly alot of the 5.0 class guys that are runnin as much as 30# of boost are using them with no prob's but i have never heard of them.

Think he called the gaskets "kenetic"(cant really remember)

"O" rings and copper will not let you down.

Yes blown goat, o-ringing the block or the head, are a thing of the past. They are called, "Cometic" and there are three, possibly four advantages to using these.

First off, you can avoid the expense of o-ring machining. Remember, once the heads are 0-ringed, each time you take the heads off after this, and should you need to mill the heads due to them being crowned, the o-ring process will have to be done again.

Secondly, the gaskets are custom made so that if the quench area is too great, you can order the gasket to the exact thickness you need thereby eliminating the need for decking the block to achieve the desired quench distance.

Thirdly, you can order the gaskets so that the piston holes are only .005 of an inch larger than the piston.

Fourthly, you can reuse these gaskets time after time. I have heard of the oval track racers re-using them as many as six times.
