Ok. I yield to the higher power. Were it mine, I'd try to refurb the flattie first, though, if it was feasable. My first vested interest in a car was a '48 Merc fordor that a buddy and I went in together on, and my first own car was a '51 Ford that I rebuilt and warmed up the 8BA in, so I have a soft spot for them. I am sure we all would like to follow your adventures.

Ahhhhh--that old flattie is probably only a 6 volt positive ground electrical system with a bypass oil filter and oil bath air cleaner!!!!!plus 18mm spark plugs--champion h 10 if i remember
send it to me freight collect and i'll see that it gets a memorial spot near a shade tree!!!!
PS--if the pallet is big enough you can put a hemi on it too---
