i pickup the drawings never did any thing with them as most head s i play with are hi 300 to 400+ CFM so thats alot of vacuum motors
I remember one from yrs ago that was totally mechanical with a water barrette that was cheap to build.I did a search and this is what I found so far.
EZ Flow System (affordable cylinder head flow bench kit, electronics, and software program)
Flow Bench
have the housing made and the 8 big vacume motors and old style instrumenttaion, Corey wants computer electronic stuff--kinda like at a stand still right now
I started one, a 3phase 15hp 440v motor drove it - well, it worked but never put the formica etc on it - it had a mess of dwyer magnehelics that gave direct readout on fpm and i messed with it a lot. I found taht with a good shop vac and a box for a plenum you got nearly the same info - the magnetude is lower but the data is nearly the same and the shop vac was way quieter.
After all that i realized it was cheaper to buy one.
I kinda need to look into getting one large enough for carburators, i am at that stage where i need to decide to make the next step or not.
The EZist one I ever saw,was just dump valve hooked up to and above port,a clear hose just above that, and a tall clear contaner of about 3gal.,deel was it all held water tell ya dumped the valve open and timed it tell water had stoped[All test were out side to water the plate life.LOL
I love simple cheep stuff.
