Battery tray paint??.
I got a pick and pull battery tray for Rufus. It's in decent shape and what I found was it is common to see them rotten out.I plan on to use a cup wire brush to clean it up and wanted to ask you guys what you would suggest to use in a rattle can paint??.

Hey Gary............. I removed the battry tray from the "Smilie" van, sandblasted it and then coated it with POR 15. It's holding up pretty good.

I like to put down 4 pieces of thin sheet rubber, something the thickness of an old inner tube. I cut them into 4 strips and use them to sit the battery down. It gives the battery a cushion and helps keep the battery from scratching the painted surface.

Agree with POR 15. It is impervious to battery acid, brake fluid, and almost everything else.

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
