Great Metal Polish

I was so impressed with the product I had to share.

White Diamond Metal Polish and Sealant

I have a lot of experience metal polishing (tripoli, rouge). I've used Wenol often.

When I first saw White Diamond, I thought no-way. It's from "as seen on TV". Its' consistency is almost water. On the store shelf it separates and top half looks clear like water.

It made my polished Centerlines gleam with brilliance. It didn't take much rubbing. Gleam like I've seen no other polish do - machine or by hand.

My valve covers are more porous. It still made them look good. It might take a few more rotations for perfection.

We'll worth the money ($14.99), and Advance Auto sells it.

I use a similar product, the generic name for the product is Liquid Jewelers Rouge. I agree the texture is deceiving, have touted the stuff for years. Some are stuck on meguriers & mothers that's ok by me for sure.

It will do a great job on stainless also, Speedway sold the stuff for years & just dropped it recently. You are right that's absolutely the cats meow for polishing metal.

I use Semichrome and California polish for finial buffing. The California polish makes aluminum look like chrome. They also have a deoxidizer that works great on spotting

turbo..............I totally agree with the California poilsh. A good buddy of mine showed me this stuff at his shop. He put the oxidizer on a piece of stainless ,then the polish..........man, it came up like chrome. I just got done doing my wheels and some aluminum on my wagon as it starts going together.

After reading this post I picked up a bottle last weekend. I was making alternator spacers out of 1" diameter aluminum bar stock. I used a little sand paper to knock off the oxidation, a piece of crocus cloth to smooth that out and then a piece of skotchbrite to even out the surface. I hit that with the White Diamond just to see what it do and was very pleased when the surface came out highly polished and "chrome like". Granted it's not a perfect surface but it looks great from a few feet away. Very pleased with the product so far. I have a set of aluminum wheels on my Monte Carlo that are pretty nasty. I will try this stuff on those to see what it does.

The polish is the purple the oxidizer is green. The oxidizer is what realy tripped me out as polished aluminum eventually spots. The center of the spots can often be polished out with Semi Chrome but possibly not the edges of the spot. Knew for years some sort of cemical was needed to help remove the spotting. A friend that used to show the ZZ Top cars turned me on to it. We had started using SemiChrome back in the late 60s on our show cars at the World Of Wheels shows.
Upon recieving the purple pollish I pollished the wheels on side of my car with Semi Chrome the wheels on the other side with the purple. Had several friends look at them all decided the purple did a better job. Also in combo with the oxidizer the ease of pollishing with the purple was unreal. What took 2 to 3 hours of buffing with semi chrome now took 20 min.
