While I'm waiting on my Eastwood catalog, are there any other good tool companies ( auto repair specialties ) ?
Seems a couple months ago there was a discussion about Martin Tools being a favorite.
Depending on what you are looking for,Craftsman, Snap-on, Mac tools , Matco........they all carry tools for the car guy.
If you're talking about fabricating tools and equipment, I've bought from a company called Trick Tools, they don't handle a lot of the cheap import tools like a lot of the companies. Prices are higher but so is the quality!!!
If you have a nearby Harbor Freight, most of their tools are identical to Eastwood except the paint and label plus are cheaper and no inflated shipping costs. And as 34_40 said, Martin for body shop tools are the 'standard' and wont chip like the Chinese cheapies.
These Williams Lowbuck tools seem nice and have been well thought of on another forum ( Williams Lowbuck Tools, Inc. Home Page )though shipping would kill any of my desires
Shame you are not closer as there is an autobody shop that lost it's lease and is liquidating everything on November 3rd. Just across the highway from Eastwood.
