Hey all! Just picked up an 87 Caprice 4dr sedan with the 307ci Olds. Was an interesting drive home, when the crack/waterpump/fan/power steering belt snapped. Began overheating and drained the battery because the alternator belt runs off the water pump pulley

Needless to say, she is home. New belts, new water pump, new alternator, new thermostat - done. Running like a champ now

Except, the power steering doesn't work at all. Fluid is at full level. It is not rack and pinion, but I am not sure what it's steering is called. All the components were changed and look brand new - tie rods, bushings, and the little pitman? arms...

Advise on how to troubleshoot the power steering system in this car? I don't even know where to start PS. You guys rock!
