so would air in the line make a difference ??
Air in the line will compress to whatever pressure the oil in the line behind it registers and will show up as oil pressure on the gauge.
It's not much different than having just a little air in the brake lines. A little will make the brakes softer to pushing the pedal, but you can still have brakes.
So no, air in the line will not prevent the reading of correct oil pressure on the gauge.
thanks ,, i am going to just drive it for now and maybe this winter do a rebuild its gota be cheaper than my 235 i did
