I was trying to meet your "standards".. **)**):)
All this talk about nice weather makes me want to kick some one in the jimmy!
Well, R2 and MT are in a fog half the day!
Very, very nice project and amazing work. I really enjoyed looking at it.
So I caught the crud early last week that is going around here in San Diego. Heads all clogged up and even dizzy at times... I feel super weak but other than that its just enough to make work not fun. So I Havent!
I did trim things up so they are fitting pretty close now. The plan is to start welding this morning and grind this afternoon.

My hat is off to you Bob.. Bob.. oh, and Bob!
That's pretty slick!
Not really a biggie at all... some cool tools and two more Bobs in your head, what could go wrong?
Ive been under the weather for the last few days but made myself get the fenders pretty much done. They still need some miner welding and grinding but at least there was forward progress today. I got the fenders where I thought they should be. I cut the 4 door long and the delivery long so they over lapped. I then took the whisle cutter and just went down the center of both the pieces and tacked them up.

I just kept spot welding til it was just one big continous weld, Ground it down smooth and just like it was planned I threw the fender on.

Who would a thunk
Very nice work and in quick fashion I must say. I feel for ya as I have gotten this same crap and I just had some other gunk last week. Dang it!
Oh man I had this about a month ago and I think it just never went away completly. Zero energy and a clogged up head with a tickle cough. But Im making myself work through it so I should get a Bozo point or two for that, Right?
Yep, I have to do the same thing. If ya stop, nothing will get done. Haha
Whistle Cutter??? = Plasma Cutter???? Is that right?
The car.. errrr... the sedan... err.... the DELIVERY looks killer!:LOL:
Well not exactly... Air powered die grinder with a 3" cut off wheel = a Whistle Cutter. Heck I bet in your shop a Straight Screw Stick probably called something else as well? It cracks me up when the young guns meet here on Friday nights, it usually take them about an hour of wrenching for them to start calling a #2 Phillips a "Short or Long Philly Deuce Rod", and a "Slotted Screw Driver" is a "Screw Stick", if they want one that hasnt been used for a pry bar in the past they ask for a "Straight Screw Stick" 2",4",6",8",10", or a longonn. I could correct them but It really cracks me up how fast they pick up the slang, I let it go and chuckle to myself and take it as a complement. Oh and a Bob Rod is anything that is used to pry with... Even a bent Philly Deuce rod. Im still trying to figure out if that is a complement or not? :D Gotta have fun with it guys... What is your cool tool really called... No not that one! See, hanging with the young guys has worn off on me as well.
Your a few hours ahead of me but I will catch up and pass you at 5:00 Pacific time. Enjoy and have one for me while your waiting. Have a great weekend everyone!
I've got a nammafour.
What's a nammafour?

Very Nice! I have My big MFH but think nammafour might be a better thing to blurt out at the shop! Thanks for sharing
