Part Identification needed

So I was at the swapmeet a couple weeks back and I spotted these babies sitting on a guys table. I pick them up because I know what they are (But I don't know what they fit) and the guy says to me "I'm gonna make you buy them" Yeah okay I'm thinking. "Go ahead and make me buy them" He says "$15" Then I hit him with "I'll give ya $10" Then he asked me "do ya need a bag?" "I told ya I was gonna make you buy them!" I am 99% sure they are disc brake dust covers for (I think) a Magoo's frontend but I can't find any info on the net. Anyone have a clue? They are 11.5" wide and have a removable inlay. They are a kool piece and should polish up good. I was thinking for the wifes car.

Now that I'm looking at it more. Maybe it's Corvette or Jag rear covers. The removable inlays so you don't have to remove the half shafts?

I had a longer response all typed out this morning when the site took a dump........argh.
Anyway, yeah, looks like rear end plates to clear without removing axles, not necessarily irs. Bolt pattern looks more like rear bearing flange than front spindles.

I checked the bolt pattern and it is the same as small ford. Early Mustang. Maybe some kind of a disc brake conversion?

Yes, it's a combination backing plate and caliper mount.
