4l60e b&m shift kit with trans removed
i have done 1 shift kit in truck on a turbo 350. my truck now 1996 c1500 with 4l60e. i am going to have trans out of truck. they only give you instructions with trans in vehicle. what will be the difference installing kit with valve body facing up? i hope that is understandable.

Hold the instructions upside down.
Kidding.🙄.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

yes,
i put trans on engine stand. when you remove the valve body lay all your bolts in order on lint free rags. i took pictures of wiring harness first. when you remove valve body the 7 ball bearings stay in position on separator plate. when you install bearings you put them in valve body and hold them in with petroleum jelly. shifts great and fun to drive.
thanks,
mark
