Help me identify this Ford T bucket Rod.....
Hi Folks,
Thanks for this wonderful space in the net....
I am trying to recreate my Dad old racing car in the 70s...... His race car was appropriately called LOCO-Motion and it was a bullet..... He sold it when I was still a kid and I dreamt that it was going to be mine one day..... although in life my dad did well, honestly I only wanted him to give me his race car and his harley..... He sold them because my mother never wanted me to race, little she knew I was going to win the Baja 1000 one day...... At 50, I am still young enough to recreate this vehicle, but I cant seem to find the type of Bucket seat used....Can someone help me out point what type of Bucket cabin was used?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site. Good to see you here and it is an interesting project you propose.
Going to be difficult if that is the only picture you have showing the seat.

Nicely built race car. It appears to be the '23-'25 style Model T bucket with the "turtle deck". Possibly/probably a fiberglass replica. They're still available today.

Welcome to CHR and good luck in your efforts to recreate your Dad's car! For the seat and the body, you might want to take a look at Speedway motors, they have reproduced a few of the seats from that era and also could be a source for the body! Keep us updated on your progress!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
