I'm going disc/disc on my 47 Ford. I have a mid-90s Mustang GT M/C and prop valve. Could I put an adjustable prop valve on the line running to the back and call it good?

use the whole set up. mc/booster/pv . adjustable are for race cars.
Shine's done a lot more hot rod & muscle car builds than me, but I've found an adjustable PV to be helpful in balancing front to back braking. All OEM vehicles use a non-adjustable proportioning valve, and it is engineered to work properly with the specific front and rear brakes that are on that vehicle, as well as the vehicle front/rear weight balance and tire sizes used. To me an adjustable valve can't hurt, and may help. Just my $0.02.
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups.
a deuce will just need manual brakes with an adjuster. just like a race car.
