Windage Screen and Oil pan
I have a Milodon 8qt oil pan and the Diamond windage screen. I have ran into a problem with the little dip stick tube inside the block getting binding between the screen and pan. I tried to bend the tube but when I install the dip stick it rides under the screen into the main cap area. My second thought was to notch the windage screen to clear the tube but it's still getting push in when the oil pan is installed. Basically what is happening when I install the oil pan it pushes the little tube into the windage screen and cause the dip stick to go under the screen. I need for it to remain on top of the screen? You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
