Metal Fabricating
Since I don't have much to do on my summer vacation I thought that I would pick up a new and ever lasting hobby... sheet metal fab. I want to just learn to make things like hood scoops, bike tanks, etc etc just for something to do and I got a project I am doing with my golf cart and am just fixing it up a bit and would like to add a few things here and there and a dash board, etc and was wondering if anyone knows of any good sites that can help me learn to do this kind of stuff? I found this site in the Street Rodder mag called www.fournierenterprises.com and it has a lot of tools for forming and shaping sheet metal and more and I was going to get some books but first wan't to see if there are any sites and all because I don't need to learn everything from reading, I like to learn the basics and learn the rest by first hand experience and learn on my own and have my own way of doing it. Any info on this would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
