I am considering buying this truck and restoring it. it is a 51 Chevy p-u . it has a 327, no rust, needs some tranny work and there is a small leak in the master cylinder. What I want from you guys is to know : at most what would you guys pay for this truck??? give me your opinion and tell me what is the most you'd pay for it , knowing what you know. here is a pic!

It looks good and solid and if you wanted an old chevy truck, i'd think you should jump on it IF you want to rod it cause the truck would have originally came with a str8 6 ( probabbly 235 ) and to have a restored vehical the original drive train needs to be there and it's not. I'm not shure of the value but I'd guess up to 4 or 5 grand maby.

I paid $1800 for one full of bondo. The bed was not savable. The average cost for one needing complete restoration is around $1500 however, the prices lately have been raising.
If it is a rust free body & has a good SBC i'd say around $3500.
So, $2500 should'nt be too bad a price?
