Based on your description sounds like it might be mounted to the outside of the column? If so, it could be that the two screws that hold it down are just loose. If that be the case, you may have to rotate the switch assembly slightly to get it adjusted correctly then tighten it back down.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
