steering column????
Ok so the 54 is in alot of pieces yet it has so many more to get it into . Anyways i need to remove the steering colomn without takeing it all the way apart if its at all possible. Once i do this i can make a stand to hold the body when its off the frame.I work and work and still dont have time for my cars.
Im not scared of any car, a man built it so i can fix it.

Man I love the Belvedere's, is yours the hardtop? I found that if you remove the driver side floor plate (an access for MC just under the pedals in front of yer seat. You can slide the steering box through into the cabin and out the door. Or take the steering wheel off and go the other way. You should check my gallery, I got some pics of a 54 Belvedere in Paso that is a really nice full custom. I'm building a custom 54 Savoy, Mopar or no-car, hehe.Justin RFFR

Mike was a great guy with a lot of knowledge and always had good things to say. May he rest in peace. I hope he's up there playing with hot rods now as well.
