Awhile back I inquired about my wheels leaning in at the tops since I removed the springs and installed some rubber boots in the springs. Well today I took a close look and noticed that the top of the springs aren't even on their perches! I can see close to half of the perch still showing...:eek: Now my question is... Will this cause the trouble I'm having? (see pics)

Getting the springs seated will help a little, but you'll still have the same problem of excessive negative camber to a degree. Either go back and re-read my answer or go back to a reasonable spring height.

Ok, I can't find the spindle extenders for my car anywhere. So the only thing I can think of is seating the springs correctly, then removing 1 of the 2 rubbers that I have in each spring. This should atleast give me the inch or so that I'm lacking. What do you think?Quote:

BTW: Is there any way to bend the top of the spindle or move the lower arm in?

Don't try to heat and bend the spindle!!! You might want to go with Tech's advice and put the correct height springs back in the car. The lower control arms can be relocated, but it would be a very serious undertaking and if done wrong would render the car totally undriveable due to improper front end geometry.
