mustang 2
Hi ,I have a question ,I put a mustang 2 front suspension on my 64 falcon, crossmember, rack and all.I am having trouble finding or making strut rods that dont bind or just work the way they are supposed to,also i need to locate someonewho makes tie rod adapters to eliminate bump steer. They look like extra long bolts ,but tapered on one end to fit the spindle hole. THANKS LARRY

Larry, did you use a crossmember from a MII or one from an aftermarket manufacturer? Stock MII control arms or aftermarket?PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Stock strut rods should work for you then. The critical part of it is that the center of the rubber biscuit (the actual pivot point) must be exactly in line with the centerline of the lower control arm bushing bore. If it isn't, you'll get binding and breakage.
If you used the rack that came with the rest of the pieces you have, it should work well without any bastard pieces. If you have bumpsteer, then you didn't mount the rack exactly like it was mounted on the stock MII.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
