1939 Dodge D11 Front Suspension
I have an original '39 Dodge D11 2-door. It is a running, driving original car as is. I want to start to go towards the street rod side. I thought the first step would be to get the front suspension done, as well as the steering, then I can start to mock-up for the engine and tranny. Does anyone know of a company who makes a crossmember for my car that can use a Mustang II suspension? Has anyone ever tried to use a Dakota or Durango front suspension? I don't mind using the Mustang II if that is the best way to go. If not, I want to stick with something Mopar. Help Please!
Keep '39 origianl IFS suspension or go different.
Hi, I'm a newby. I have a 1939 Dodge 2-door sedan which I'm rodding. Its motor-vation will be a 241 cube Baby Ram Hemi with a Ford 9-inch rear end. I just want to clear this in my muddled mind. Mr. Bud, are you retaining the original IFS but adding the rack and pinion and disc brakes? Thanks.
