chevy s-10 springs in 39 chevy?

some one told me that chevy s-10 leaf springs would fit the rear of a 39 chevy.i'm wondering if this is a bolt-in or if the spring mount would have to be moved.thanks for any info,take care......dennis h. pateras

they aren't a direct bolt in since the S10 spring is wider. u should be able to buy just the bracket so u can use the s10 springs. BUT personally i have no idea if they may be 2 long or 2 short. ya may want to look at the s10 blazers 4x4 the springs are about 2 inches longer....joe



i'll be there for the TinDusters Color Run in a couple of weeks, this yr will make our 23rd yr i believe we've gone. wished i had something to drive in rather then buying a swap meet booth. oooooo well have to leave sunday morning anyway so i hope saturday show downtown has a nice day 4 it
