I have a 56 Dodge pickup and nobody makes parts for em. I cant think of a way to drop the frontend since I cant just go swapping parts or getting bolt in kits, plus I dont have a lot of money. I was thinking, can I just flip the leaf springs, so they arch up instead of down. The way my I-beam straight axle is designed, it has a cast in mounting flange for the leafs to ride on top of the axle. But nothing under the axle so I cant just mount them under to drop the suspension like that. How would the leaf spring operate flipped over like that?
