64 C 10 disc conversion
Thanks in advance to anyone whom can point me in the best ( hopefully cheapest ) direction to converting the drum brakes on my 64 C10 to power disc..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Not the cheapest in price, but quality stuff (which often ends up cheaper in the real world)

I have searched around and about 500 bucks is what it costs ,new or tryin to piece it together ,about 500 bucks!!I am goin new just because its the brakes and I do not want to have to (make)sumthin work.Front brakes only.I think the back is about 600 bucks.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Thanks for the link, it would be wonderful to just click and buy.. maybe after the paint is done..
Don' suppose you have a parts list? It is so much easier to pick up a piece at a time....

All you need is the spindles that except disc brakes,there is a number of venders.The rest of the stuff you can get from your local auto store.This will be all new parts.
If you want even cheaper go to a junk yard and piece it together from a donor truck 72-84.Last edited by BigTruckDriver; 11-07-2005 at 10:40 AM.
