setting up my front suspension
hi i was getting ready to put my tube axle front suspension together and i have never done anything like this before are there any tips or tricks any one could give me to make this right ? it is a spring over drop tube axle from mas
is there a certain angle the spring shackles should be at ? or a certain angle the radius rods should be at ? should they be parallel to the frame ? this is on a 29 model a tudor sedan ,stock frame that i boxed in , any help with this would be great thanks joeno one told me

The radius rods have to be parallel with the ground. The shackles go on the rear spring hangers, I would say around 45 degrees to the back. Make sure that they are angled enough so that when you hit a big bump, the shackles won't go over center and end up being forward on the spring end. You will want to crank in about 5 to 7 degrees of caster with the springs compressed to ride height and the full weight on the car resting on the suspension....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
