Mustang II TO Dropped axle
Ok thinking about changing my mustang II front suspension over to a dropped axle for the more vintage look, and getting rid of the fenders.
Has anyone done this, and how much work does it entail?
Thanks,
Mike

What kind of car? It will probably require a crossmember change, then the new axle setup, 4 bar or hairpins, some cutting and welding, repaint the effected areas of the frame.... Lots of work, but nothing too difficult.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Also, I assume that MII set-up has rack and pinion steering. So, you'll need a new steering box, a re-pop of the steering box to column linkage.
(It's going to be a lot harder if the MII is really in a Mustang . . .)

We managed to get a couple of other small things taken care of. One was blacking out the front of the core support. When the sun hit the front of the car just right that green paint on the core...
