Anyone used a S-10 frame on a 40 ford truck? What about a rear steer S-10? Thanks

I suppose it could be done, but there are so many good parts available for the 40's Ford frames to make them super cruizers I can only see an S-10 would be cheaper and make it ride and handle.....like an S-10.... By the time you would get all the wheelbase and track width issues adjusted, rebuilt all the worn out suspension pieces on the S-10 chassis, then rebuilt all the body mounts, supports, and front sheetmetal and radiator support mountings it would seem your time and money could have been better spent upgrading the original chassis with modern components.....
