Hope you know you'll be more the welcome to take the toys for a spin if you come by! I've built a few leaf spring cars over the years, each was an improvement over it's predecessor...the '57 will be the combination of what I've learned so far from some of my ideas. I "cheat" a bit on my ladder bars. The 'store bought' units all run solid rod ends where they attach to the rear end housing, this one will have heim joints for the attachment, as well as a Watts linkage with heim joints that is set parallel with the axle housing. Still doing some plotting on shock locations for the rear, even considering dual shocks on the rear and some 'out of the box' shock valving on them. Oh yeah, the front suspension will be a strut type arrangement with rack and pinion steering. I do like my toys to handle well!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
Visited a family member at Dockery Ford from the time I was 1 year old through their ownership and then ownership change to Morristown Ford. Dockery was a major player in the Hi Performance...
How did you get hooked on cars?
