Hey all. I just went to a salvage yard and bought leaf springs to put on my nova. I asked for a spring that would be compatible with my 74 nova, and they brought out 75 firebird leaf springs. I am not very knowledgeable in the spring department so i did not contest what they said. Does anyone know if they will work fine? Also i noticed that there are some new metal rappings around the leaf srpings to hold them in place. They used the type of strap that reminds me of those none backing out plastic strips, that once you push in wont back out on you. Are those alright too? I know that on the leaf springs i have right now, there are actual metal bands holding the leafs together.
