clutch fork linkage????????
I've looked through a million threads to find a picture I stumbled across one time. Somehow a topic turned into a discussion about clutch linkages and somebody posted a picture of their linkage from the pedal to the fork. The fork in this case was basically perfectly straight ahead of the pedal.
I wanted to get a look at it because my fork is almost straight ahead and I'm trying to figure out what linkage pieces I'll need to get it to work right.
I kind of think it was dennyw who posted that pic, but I'm not sure.Last edited by tcodi; 02-15-2005 at 01:19 PM.

Here's my problem. I have through the floor pedals, so the tab underneath the clutch pedal pivot goes towards the rear when depressed. It is in a fairly straight line to the clutch fork, which has the dimple on the front of the pedal. I guess most mechanical linkages use the z bar thing, but is there anything I could use that would wrap around the front of that fork so that I could use a straight linkage to the pedal tab?
I would use a heim joint of some sort, I'm just not sure how to connect to that fork.
It looks like henry rifle must have done something similar, but I can't see enough in this picture.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
