Th350 has no working passing/kickdown?
th350 in t-bucket 350sbc with 450 holley4bbl.
The parts are hooked up,cable and standard Vac mod(not adjustible one.
tryed cable adjust in all places, even tryed a .o30 restricktor in the vac line too,but just don't kickdown when it's stomped on. tranny works pretty good other wise but dose shift up fast from start if left to it's self [some times feels like it even skips #2,down shifts it self when coming to stop. But if ya shift it by hand it is great.Last edited by The Bat; 02-26-2012 at 12:37 PM.

Yes,I tryed it in other then full pull also ,but have put it so at max open carb, the cable is also as far as it can be pulled at the sama time!
I set it up that way on the carb I took off ,it was too big 750 AFB and that one ran very rich, now 450 holley Economaster that runs much better but still no kickdown working. motor now idles great at 600/650rpm.Last edited by The Bat; 02-26-2012 at 06:56 PM.

I guess you'll need to drop the pan and take a look.
Maybe the bolt holding the lever down is loose and not plunging the valve all the way in.

Check that the valve is moving freely and all the springs are correctly oriented.
I can't think of anything else right now. One step at a time I guess.

If possible, while the pan is down. Have someone press the pedal slowly to the floor and see if it works smoothly and full range on travel.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
