B&M hammer shifter
Anyone have experience with the hammer?
In my 69 nomad w 700R4 I just switched a B&M star shifter for a hammer. I hate it, it is very tight. Kind of lives up to its name, as I pretty much have to slam it to make it shift.
If I remove the detent spring, it should loosen up, but will it cause problems missing shift points?.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
