TX pre-36 chevy p/u?
Testing the waters to see what's out there. Anyone have (or know of) a pre'36 chevy pick-up to turn into a rat rod. I'm not looking for crap, but I don't want something that is so nice I can't tear into it, learn, practice, or be afraid to mess something up.
As complete as possible (but don't care about running boards, front fenders...) Basically want a pretty full canvas to start with. Running would be nice to minimize the initial nickle-n-dimeing of all the little stuff, but I'll look at anything.
I'm in S. TX, so really don't want anything outside of TX, unless it is DIRT cheap. Trying to keep cost to a minimum, and shipping aint cheap. I think I'm about 6 or 7hrs from any TX boarder, and that is already pushing how far I wanna drive.'73 Datsun 240z - stock

Try www.oldride.com. They usually have alot of older vehicles for sale.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
