Car Wanted
Looking for a Nova or Camaro for a father son project. A 71 Nova would be great (owned a new one in 1971) but anything that is in reasonable shape will work. Loacated in Michigan.
Thank You.

A buddy of mine has a 1971(I think) Nova for sale. It's an ex drag car, built 350 (motor runs but has a noise), manual trans, solid body, missing some interior pieces, been sitting in a garage since 1982. I'm located in Michigan too, car is in eastern Wisconsin. Price is 1200.00 . Email me if interested. Snake. gnord@new.rr.com1970 Shelby

Panama, I will be going by the nova tomorrow morning. I will grab all the numbers and give you an honest opinion of what condition it's in.

Hi Mike,
It wasn't out today. Sometimes on this particular driving route i see cars off and on...like the owners put them away when they aren't home or something. If I see it again, i'll be sure and get the info. But who knows, maybe someone snapped it up

Hi Mike, stopped and looked at the nova. It's a 73 with a 454 and a th350. He has a sign that says new seats,gauges dashboard and top. Well its not a vinyl top. I found the line where it was welded on. It had rust and rot behind the front wheel wells and in front of the rear as well. The frame had a small hole eaten away where the exhaust had broken also. The asking price was 7k obo. Not worth it at all.
I did hear of 1 about 6 miles away in town. for around 4k. I will stop and see if i can locate it in the next day or two. Do you have a certain condition that this car must be in?

Thanks Paul;
Appreciate your help. I am looking for a 68 to 72 in decent condition, I am flexable in price. I don't want something that requires major rework as we are going do do most of it.
If you or anyone else needs anything in my area (Mid Michigan) I would be glad to help !!!
Thanks again;
Mike

ok, no problem. Looking for rear bumper brackets for a 39 chevy panel sedan. The p/u brackets are different so it's a tough one to find. If you see one let me know.
thanks
