I'd like to ideally spend under $800 if at all possible. I'm located in Southwest Florida, and distance really isn't a problem because I know some local shipping companies.

We are located in Fort Myers too, and we had to drive to Atlanta, Ga. to get my '39 and my Sons '29. I paid $ 900 for my cab, and he paid $ 500 for his Fordor. We went there because there isn't much in this area, and what you find here is rusty, for the most part.
We simple loaded up our little utility trailer, drove to Atlanta, and hauled them back. Both bodies are remarkably rust free, and cheaper than what we could find here. My Son found both bodies on various forums. The South just seems to be a good source for this stuff, but not Florida.
Good luckDon........as long as I have projects to finish I can't die
