Lookin for a 2ton+ flatbed truck in WA
Plain & simple, just like the title says, I'm lookin for a 2 ton flat bed truck, maybe something heavier, but it MUST have at least a 12 foot bed or be capable of carrying one. Prefer a flat bed, but a stake side or box, even a bare frame is OK.
Looking for something mid 60's or older, only real requirement there is it needs to have all of the sheet metal, dents OK, mangles or missing not so much. I'm gonna chop the top & do some other heavy body mods, so I can work with some damage.
Clean interior is preferable too, original dash & the like, so please NO dog houses or chicken coops,...
Would like one that runs at least well enough to get on a trailer itself but thats all negotiable depending on what ya got.
My price range is limited, so what I'm lookin for is something arund $1K or less.
Thanks!!I dig ALL cars, old & new, whether they were hammered out of american iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
But thats just my opinion.
