Cars around Dallas?
Well I live in Ohio and I'm making a trip down to the Dallas area to look for a vehicle (plus vacation kinda). I'm not too sure what I want, just want to find something for a new project. Will be a chevy unless its an old old old ford. Just wanted to see if anyone on here was from around Dallas or around the route down there that new of cars in fields, or junkyards that have some clean cars. Thanks for any info.I gots to know

There is a place, Beard Texas. It is a ways from Dallas though. Was passing thru on Friday, on my way home. Looked off to the East side of the road(HWY 69), sitting in the woodline for over a quarter mile, nothing but old cars. Had never noticed them before. I'll get more info.
Know a guy in Greenville has a 69 or 70 GTO want $2000 for it. Car is still sitting there last time I went thru. There is a 57 Chevy, I think it is a four door, in the junkyard here in Sulphur Springs. Tons of cars around here, not too bad shape either. The city of Cumby a guy does customizing, he has a crap load of old cars. He has an old Chevy Nomad, well my wife says he has two. I think they are for sale.Last edited by jramshu; 01-16-2005 at 05:20 PM.
