    Advice on nitro. install?

I'm installing a nitrous plate on 454 cid Chev. eng. w/ stock heads, dual exauast manifolds,TH400 auto. trans., and a 750 cfm Carter carb. My question is thier any additional thing I need to to to run this set up? Besides checking/resetting the timming. The plate is a 50-100hp boost w/ no instuctions, because I got it used.

    Thanks for any help.

Make sure that your fuel is not running too lean. Or you could melt some pistons and rings.

    What brand is it?

Once you determine that, go to their website and look for instructions. Nitrous is NOT one of those systems you want to install without instructions.

It sound's like you have a super powershot from NOs. These are good system's. Just remember with nitrous you have to have every system 100 percent . Fuel , Ignition also a high flow exhaust is a plus . Start out with the 50 H.P. flare jet's and move up from there. Also a wide open throttle switch is not a bad idea. This way the nitrous will only activate when all four barrells are open .You should be o.k. as long as you don,t over do it with the bigger flare jet's.
